PlantHopper! (and other cool stuff!)

Yo Penguins!

Today Rockhopper, (or since his ship is overgrown with plants we could call him Planthopper!) arrived his ship is a Jungle! he also came with  some cool items! (If you don’t know what the Plant Pot’s do, keep them in your Igloo for a few days/weeks to find out!)

And if you are lucky enough to meet Rockhopper (walking with Yarr) you can recieve a free autographed background! and this time, it’s new!

The brand new background is not the Bambadee and Rockhopper background as some predicted, but a background of him and Yarr on the Overgrown Migrator!

And that’s not all! there is also a new pin! this pin is a Ice Cream Sundae! this can be found at the Pizza Parlour!

new catalogues! (and Rockhopper!)

Today 2 new catalogues came out, these are the Igloo Upgrades and Igloo Furniture, both are packed with great item’s, my fave is probably the TreeHouse igloo upgrade!

And that’s not all! if you take a look at the Telescope at the Beacon you can see Rockhopper is returning! You will most likely also notice that his ship is decorated for the Medieval party!

I wonder what item’s he will bring, maybe the Rockhopper and Bambadee background which is rumoured to arrive with Rockhopper?

Rockhopper and Bambadee background

If you were lucky enough to go to DisneyWorld in Florida and meet Rockhopper, then congratulations! As Rockhopper give’s out FREE coin codes which unlock a latest background, the Rockhopper and Bambadee background! (Notice how it missed Bambadee’s trademark? The friendship bracelet!)

Many penguins believe Rockhopper will bring this background on his next visit, I personally believe that Rockhopper will bring Bambadee with him (seen above) and we must meet Bambadee for the new background (above) and meet Rockhopper for the old background (Rockhopper signed background.)

medieval madness!

Today the Medieval party 2009 has started! and it is (in my opinion) alot better than last years!

The Medieval catalogue has also come out, this can be found at the Gift Shop above the Penguin Styles catalogue! (This also includes the Medieval background Choice #3 we chose a few weeks ago!)

There is also the return of the Wizard Hat, this is the only free item, making a total of 1 item for non-members, this can be found at the Lighthouse (Wizard’s Castle)

There is also a awesome Knight’s Quest which members can take part in, the poster is at several locations across CP, this poster than take’s you to the Cave (Pool).

There is a total of 3 quests, each contains a different activity, and a free item!

In the 1st activity, you must light all the orb’s by standing on a step which lights them up, this room contain’s no free items.

In the 2nd activity, you must hit a total of 50 targets, each target pops up for a few seconds.  There is a Golden Shield item in this room.

In the 3rd activity, you must find your way out of a really cool tunnel, but before you start exploring, make sure you pick up the Golden Knight’s Helmet!

Once you find your way out of this Maze, you will have completed the Quest and end-up in a really cool room, you can finally get the Golden Knight’s Armour, this completes all your Golden Knight Gear!

There is also a cool new pin, this is a King’s Crown and can be found in the Boiler Room (BlackSmith’s) just click the ‘Pin Maker 3000′!

And after all the Medieval excitement, you can check out the new play called ‘The Haunting Of The Viking Opera!’ which is a great play, including one of my all time favourite member item’s, the Ghost Costume!

There is also the awesome Golden Viking Helmet hidden, you must click the Pink Helmet on page 2. (Shown below).

Once you have clicked it, you will then see the Red Viking helmet pop-up, close and re-open this about 4 times, then click the Pink Helmet which ‘Helga’ was wearing, (also shown below). Then you can get the awesome Golden Viking helmet worth 1500 coins!

So be sure to check out all this great fun, including the return of the Tree-house ‘Party’ room!

Friday; Big Update!

I just wanted to let everyone know that Friday will be one of the biggest updates in CP History, the events are: Medieval party, medieval catalogue (including special background we voted on), New play AND new pin! so be sure to log in on Friday!

In other news, BillyBob announced the second item we can choose on, this is a wig which will be available in June, our mission is to pick a colour for this wig!

I think that blue will win as there has been several wig’s that are blonde and dark brown making a light blue wig would be very unique!

Today the latest Penguin Style catalogue came out, which features alot of old and new Medieval goods!

Probably the most popular item this time is the Blue Dragon Costume! you can find it hidden in the catalogue!
