After yesterdays large update (revealing almost all the events CP has planned for this year), I didn’t expect many more sneak peeks for this month. However, Happy77 made an exclusive video featuring a sneak peek of the new Penguin Styles catalogue out this Thursday! (We also get to see a closer look in her inventory, Beta Hat anyone?)

You may also notice that the island seems to be slanted sideways. This is due to the Underwater party coming this month!

But that’s not it! Happy77 also posted a sneak peek on the What’s New blog! Here it is:

• New clothing items: The new Penguin Style catalog will be at the Gift Shop this Thursday!
• New Party: The team’s almost finished another brand new party! Lots of you have been asking for one like this, and I think you’re going to love it…
• The Twelfth Fish at the Stage: It’s back… for the first time since 2008!
• Famous penguin visiting… Who do you think will be here this month?
• and more….

The thing that surprised me about this was that Happy says ‘New party’. I first expected the Underwater Party to be similar to the Submarine Party (in which some rooms were underwater), but this sounds like the whole island will be underwater! Also, it appears that the famous penguin Rookie will be visiting this month with a brand new background! Sounds like a very eventful month!

Information has been leaked through several magazines in which show what CP have planned for 2012! We can see that most parties/events have been seen before but will hopefully have something unique in comparison to the others. Anyways, here’s the list of events:

January – Underwater party! I enjoyed this party the first time, so this is definitely something I’m looking forward to.

February – Rockhopper’s Quest! Little is known about this event at the moment. It could be a scavenger hunt or something similar to re-building The Migrator? Who knows.

March – Puffle Party! Now become an annual party and always features a brand new puffle. I hope you penguins like the colour hot pink! This party will also probably introduce PH the Puffle Handler as a meetable mascot.

April – April Fools Party! Rookie will most likely be visiting as well as a few other surprises. Earth Day is also on the 22nd, perhaps CP will do something to celebrate?

May – Card-Jitsu Snow?! ‘Battle as a Ninja’ – this probably means that Card-Jitsu Snow will finally be introduced. Unless CP has other plans for ninjas?

June – Music Jam! The Penguin Band will be returning as usual. I wonder if they will keep their same style as last year? Most likely..

July – Nothing Planned. I’m guessing CP may be torn between a couple of ideas. My guess is that a summer-type party will be this months main event. I’d LOVE to see a Summer kick-off party (as the Summer kick-off party 2007 was my first official party!) as we haven’t had one for a while..

August – New EPF Mission! Many are guessing Herbert will finally awake from hibernation. If I’m honest, I thought he would wake up long before now but guess not.

September – Fall Fair! I still call this the Fall Fair, despite its name been changed to ‘The Fair’ (How creative..). This party has now become an annual event ever since it first saw the light of day in 2007.

October – Halloween Party and 7th Anniversary party! Okay, who didn’t see this coming? October is probably my favourite month of the whole year on CP. We will expect a brand new party hat, not to mention mascots such as Aunt Arctic and Gary making an appearance.

November – Nothing Planned. That makes two months with ‘nothing planned’ as of yet. Of course, CP will have stuff planned but will probably either want to keep that secret, or are torn between several ideas. My guess is that perhaps another Card-Jitsu party? The first seemed to be quite popular..

December – Holiday Party! What better way to conclude the year than to have a Holiday party? Hopefully will feature another 12-day countdown with 12 days of items. That was pretty amazing, and the Gingerbread Cookie costume will always be one of my fave free items ever released.

(Of course, there will also be Field ops, pins, new plays etc etc and probably a lot of free hats/backgrounds/pins.)

So that’s what CP has in store for us in 2012! Sounds like it will be a great year, but seems pretty strange talking about December in January..

Apologies for the absence of posts throughout the past few weeks. Anyways, CP’s Holiday Party has now concluded and the holidays are almost over for another year. I hope everyone had a great Christmas (or a great day, if you don’t celebrate it!) and are looking forward to 2012. This years Coins for Change goal was reached, so great job to everyone who donated!

In other news: The latest language (German) has now also been officially released. Be sure to enter mmcode11, mmcode12 and mmcode13 on the Unlock Items Online screen to receive a coin bonus and a new shirt!

This will be my last post until 2012, so I hope everyone has a great New Year! Thanks to CP for continuing to release new stuff (even if it usually is filled with bugs..) and a huge thanks to all those who have visited CPF this year!!

Club Penguin has finally made its very first short cartoon! It is entitled ‘Never Wake a Sleeping Sensei’, and even contains voice dialogue (including Sensei’s voice!)

I think this will be a start of a series of shorts, including perhaps an upcoming TV show? Who knows! Anyway, great job on the video CP!

In other news: December is now upon us, and so to celebrate I have made yet another website header (featuring Sensei himself!) and added falling snow to the blog, enjoy!

Since the Halloween season is now over, I have changed both the header of the main site and the mixpod below (containing several CP Christmas themed music). Starting from December 1st, snow will begin to fall on the site as usual, so those viewers from last year should remember what I’m talking about.

I’m sure many of you already know this, but you can now add the CP mascots! (Rockhopper, Gary, Sensei etc.) I managed to meet Gary on Jimbobson 2 again today, (as neither Jimbobson or Jord4 have their friends list back yet..) so I sent him a friend request and he accepted!

I think that if Gary is controlled by a bot instead of a staff member, your request will automatically be accepted. However, this could also apply for when he is controlled by a staff member.

It also seems that Jet Pack Guy, PH and Dot will soon become mascots too! As if you search their names to try add them, then it says you must ‘Meet them on the island’. This also means new backgrounds and Stamps too!

In other news: Could Aunr Arctic be the Director? I know we’ve all heard rumours about it before, but CP may have leaked some information. With the new chat feature, when you type in ‘Aunt Arctic is the’…the word Director comes up. Could this be a confirmation from CP, or just a statement? Who knows!

So be sure to try find Gary as you only have a few days left! If you can add him then it will make your virtual life so much easier, as you can open his playercard and obtain his background at ANY TIME if you don’t already! Probably one of the best things CP added since mascots themself!

I’m sure many of you have either seen the post by me, or the video by Happy77 when she visited Test Server 1 in Beta Team. Today in the server Ice Shelf, I was lucky enough to meet Happy77 for the second time! Here’s a picture to prove it:

With the new chat system and almost unlimited buddies, she tried her best to add everyone! Sadly, I didn’t get added due to my glitched friend list. So if you find me on the island and send me a buddy request, I’m not ignoring you (I would happily add everyone!) it is just the problem with my friend list. I will update when it works again!

So October seems to be the month of mascots and staff members! I have managed to meet Aunt Arctic, Gary and now Happy77 herself! So a huge thanks to her for visiting!

After hours of searching, I finally found Aunt Arctic! (Quite a few times!) She is currently visiting English servers (early in the day she visits the other languages). I also managed to get a picture of her:

She also has a new free background that you can obtain by clicking the box on her playercard. Here is how it looks:

Note: There is a glitch where some penguins cannot get her free background. If this happens to you, e-mail support@clubpenguin.com with your issue. I’m sure they will add it to your account.

Since Aunt Arctic will not be around for long, here are a few tips on how to find her:

She goes on more popular servers with at least 3 blocks.

She goes to both the Coffee Shop and the Book Room.

She visits the final servers often, so be sure to check Zipline if your playing in English. 

If you don’t manage to meet her, don’t worry! I’m sure she will be back at another party sometime. Don’t forget that Gary will be visiting the island starting tomorrow, also with a brand new background!

Since both the Halloween and the 6th Anniversary party are in full swing, I wanted to remind you about our official mascot tracker chat. To use it, simply join the chat and state what server you are checking, and where you last saw any of the mascots. Hopefully this will help many penguins find the mascots they need.

The 6th Anniversary party has started a day early! (probably due to the awful loading issues CP has lately) This means that there is an extra day to collect your exclusive party hat, enjoy the celebrations and find Aunt Arctic! This is also the first time that both the Halloween and Anniversary party has taken place at the same time!

Of course, the most important part of any anniversary party is the free hat! You will notice that the hat is inside a clear balloon.

To get the hat, simply click on the pin with the pumpkin on it:

Once the pin has hit all the balloons, the hat will fall and you can then pick it up.

You will notice that this party hat looks different than the previous party hats on your playercard and in your inventory, as it is slightly taller and a different shape.
