Possible Disney Takeover in December?
UPDATE: Spike Hike has confirmed via his Twitter account that after August, the remaining parties for the rest of the year will be original and not associated with Disney’s advertisements.
I went to go see Despicable Me 2 the other day and saw a preview for an upcoming Disney film. The animated film will be called Frozen and is set to be released sometime this Winter. This got me thinking, wouldn’t this be a perfect time for Disney to use CP to once again promote one of their films?
I realise that most of the advertisement parties this year have been based on extremely popular film franchises (such as Marvel’s Avengers Assemble and Star Wars) but Disney could easily incorporate the film Frozen into the “Holiday” party as it’s now known. As the film is obviously based around a snowy location, I’m sure it’s crossed their minds as to what else is based on a snowy location (CP). Here’s a comedic image of one of the characters in the film; a snowman named Olaf. Note: There are also human characters in the film.
A Frozen Takeover has not been guaranteed whatsoever and probably won’t ever exist on the island. This was simply an idea that is a huge possibility that would definitely make this years Holiday party unique in comparison to the rest.
Note: For those who dislike the Disney takeovers, please note that the release of such parties as the Marvel Superhero Takeover and the Monster’s University Takeover have increased users up to 60%. CP is actually growing once again after many users had quit (particularly members who help keep CP online). Don’t expect them to stop any time soon!
Random CP Fact #03: Club Penguin recently changed the design of the rare Target background. Many believe it was due to similarities between the background and the real-life store ‘Target’s logo!
Until next time, Waddle on!
